These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gimli Tailwind Chrome Extension and website (gimli.app), provided by Gimli Tools AB (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Product and License

Gimli Tailwind is a browser extension that assists developers in building and debugging web pages using Tailwind CSS.

  • Lifetime License: Upon purchasing a lifetime license, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal right to use Gimli Tailwind indefinitely, for as long as the product is maintained and supported.

2. Payments and Merchant of Record (Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.

  • Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns related to payments.
  • By purchasing a license, you also agree to Paddle’s Terms and Conditions.
  • Your payment information (credit card details, etc.) is handled entirely securely by Paddle; we do not store or process your payment details on our servers.

3. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Gimli Tailwind! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee.

  • To request a refund, please contact us at appgimli@gmail.com within 14 days of your original purchase date.
  • Once a refund is processed, your lifetime license will be revoked, and your access will revert to the free/locked version.

4. User Accounts and Authentication

To verify your license, you must log in to the extension using our authentication provider (e.g., Google or GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Licenses are tied to the specific user account (email/ID) used at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred between different individuals.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

We respect your privacy and only collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

  • What we collect: When you authenticate, we store your unique User ID (UID) and email address in our secure database to verify your payment status and provide customer support.
  • What we do NOT collect: We do not track your browsing history, the code you write, or any sensitive payment information.
  • Third Parties: We share necessary transaction data with our payment provider (Paddle) solely for the purpose of processing payments and managing licenses.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Gimli Tailwind is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive to provide a high-quality tool, we do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly compatible with all future updates of Google Chrome or Tailwind CSS.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Gimli Tools AB be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use Gimli Tailwind.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via the extension or our website. Continued use of the product after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
